We have established a small but highly specialized facility with a wide range of gynaecological and urogynaecological equipment.

The unit is ideally suited for Day Stay procedures and offers a full general anaesthetic facility.

The state of the art Laparoscopic equipment includes a triple chip camera with video capture allowing all endoscopic procedures to be saved electronically or e-mailed to GP's at the time of operation.

Laser and Lletz under colposcopic direction are available and there is a video colposcopy for patient viewing under local anaesthetic.

There is a viewing room available to enable relatives to observe endoscopic procedures in real time and remote from the theatre. This can also be used as a teaching facility.

In view of the size and low overheads of the unit we have been able to set theatre prices at lower than the average market price. This could be especially attractive to patients who do not have private medical insurance.
